WELCOME TO THE DEAL, JUNE 2016
Plenty To Be Proud Of...
The Hive Business Awards recently took place at Blackburn Cathedral and what a wonderful event it proved to be. The occasion celebrated the achievements of local businesses in the Blackburn with Darwen Borough in a packed venue in the heart of the town. The event was an appreciation of the fantastic businesses we enjoy within the manufacturing, technology and service sectors throughout the region. It was truly great to see business leaders, dignitaries and company employees interacting and searching for opportunities to prosper.
We should all take note and not underestimate the expertise that we have on our doorstep. Congratulations must go to the winners of the relevant categories and also the organisers of such a prestigious event.
The commercial property market within the region continues to prosper and whilst the supply chain is still a factor, particularly within the industrial sector which needs to be overcome in order to satisfy enquiries, we are starting to see increased developer activity. As confidence increases the signs are encouraging for businesses in the longer term.
