Celebrations took place in November at Northcote Manor in recognition of 30 years of Trevor Dawson. There was much reminiscing in a packed room full of what can only be described as loyal clientele to whom all at Trevor Dawson are indebted.
Daniel Thwaites, one of Trevor Dawson’s longest standing clients, have also evolved over the years and recognize the different challenges and changing markets that are presented over time. It is interesting to note that Trevor Dawson’s have assisted Thwaites in not only the strategic disposal and acquisition in the estate but also professional work in terms of valuations, lease renewals and building surveys on the non-licensed estates. Interestingly, disposals of approximately 75 properties have been undertaken by the agency team through the North West of England.
As the brewery industry evolved, in the early 1990’s through the millennium it became clear the traditional public house experience was to change. Many of the disposals put forward are trading well with alternative uses including retail, residential development, nurseries and even funeral directors. Moving forward we will endeavor to continue to provide first class property advice as Thwaites remodels the licence estate with a focus on the inns of character and Shire hotel brands.
