After only a year of marketing, the first phase of Monte (Blackburn) Limited’s Frontier Park is fully let and now firmly established as the region’s premier Business and Logistics Park.

The first phase brought forward 400,000 sq. ft. in six units from 20,000 sq. ft. upwards, with lettings to MDA, part of the European logistics giant Stacci Group, taking 185,000 sq. ft., Royal Sanders the highly diversified global business specialising in personal care products took 80,000 sq. ft. and were attracted to the scheme from Preston.  60,000 sq. ft. was let to Tek-Dry Systems, the specialist global supplier of high quality thermal process and ancillary equipment. 

This complements the 150 bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel which will open in the summer of this year adjacent to Euro Garages investment in a £6 million roadside fuel and shop facility comprising leading convenience retail brands BP, Spar, Subway, Greggs, Starbucks and KFC.

Caroline James commented, “The completion of the first phase clearly demonstrates the Issa family’s commitment to the local area and economic growth in the north west.  It has been an exciting twelve months which will continue with the next phase of development”.

The next phase will see construction start on a further 300,000 sq. ft. of speculative build with units of between 50,000 sq. ft. and 150,000 sq. ft. ready for completion in the autumn of this year. 

In addition, FP Prospect will offer the chance for smaller businesses to locate onto Frontier and provide 14,000 sq. ft. To Let in units of 3,000 sq. ft. and 5,000 sq. ft.

This leaves one final plot available on a Design and Build basis accommodating up to 300,000 sq. ft. 

Reservations for space are already being discussed with occupiers.
