Acting on behalf of a family property company, Trevor Dawson obtained instructions to market a 9,600 square feet warehouse and showroom at Oxford Court in Hyndburn, close to Junction 7 of the M65 motorway.

The strategy from the client was to secure a tenant of good covenant strength on a longer-term lease which was duly achieved in good time by the Commercial Agency Department. Additional proactive advice was then provided to the client, particularly in terms of value, before re-marketing the site for disposal on an investment basis. In the usual way, the bespoke marketing particulars were circulated to investors prior to a sale being agreed at a very healthy price.
