WELCOME TO THE FIRST EDITION OF THE DEAL 2016

2015 was defined in the property world as the year when the market turned into a very positive mood. Several unprecedented deals were struck which put the region firmly on the map. Particularly memorable was the announcement earlier in 2015 that Exertis would be going to Burnley Bridge Business Park and construct a logistic warehouse of 550,000 sq. ft., one of the largest distribution deals in the North West.

Whitebirk Strategic Site was acquired by Praxis and re-launched as Frontier Park, comprising 90 acres of prime employment land which will be available for development later this year.

One Cathedral Square in the centre of Blackburn, a state-of-the-art Grade A office building totalling 30,000 sq. ft., was completed in November and is now available To Let.   Legal and General bought the investment which is further evidence that the region is on the national radar.
