MARKET HEATING UP?
Renewed optimism is evident as we enjoy the heatwave temperatures, and it is also apparent that the demand within the commercial property sector is continuing to gather momentum, although to prosper to its full potential there is a general need for an increased level of supply.
As confidence grows it is hoped that there will be less restriction on finance and increased availability for developers to bring forward development schemes. This is particularly prevalent within the industrial sector. The ability to fulfil larger enquiries, particularly in the industrial sector, can only assist inbringing further investment and high profile businesses to the region. In closing I must mention the tremendous effort by local companies who supported the Trevor Dawson Golf Day in June at Clitheroe Golf Club which raised over £5,000 for Blackburn Youth Zone. I am sure you will agree that this is a wonderful cause which is investing heavily in initiatives and training with a view to leading young people directly into employment with local businesses. Watch out for the announcement of next year’s date soon.
