A WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

Partner to enter Guiness Book of World Records?

Partner, Jason Rawson, is currently in full training for his attempt to achieve a new world record.  

Keen cricketer Jason, who plays for local side, Salesbury in the Ribblesdale League, is raising funds for the Club by bowling a ball during a cricket match with the longest run up in history!

 

Jason will be running from Blackpool to Salesbury, a distance of over 27 miles, although the official run-up will only commence in the last one and a half miles as all players have to be in position at the start of the run-up.  

They did not want to wait for over four hours!  Jason will have to be in full cricket whites for the final stretch.

 

Let’s us just hope that Jason does not bowl a no-ball and has to start the run-up again!
